The Wayfaring Stranger
During his journey through New Florida, the wayfaring stranger struck an accord with an old man, who offered him a lift to Leeport. The old man suggested he seek out a public house called ‘The Captain’s Lady’ where he was to ask for Dana Monroe.
The old man and Dana Monroe were two of the original colonists, who came to coyote aboard the Alabama. Once he arrived in Leeport, and he found The Captain’s Lady, Dana trusted her old friends judgment, and put the stranger up for the night.
She fed him and organised his transport to Clarksburg, in return for information on The European Alliance, and what they wanted with Coyote, having worked out that’s where he’d came from. Content that he meant no harm, she instructed him to continue from Clarksburg, up into the mountains. He was to find an individual who resided there, who according to Dana was looking for the same thing…
After four weeks working as a logger in Clarksburg, earning enough to pay for the items he needed for his trek to the mountains, he decided to set out on his journey…
Somewhere in the mountains lay another person who sought the same thing as he did…
Now was the time to find him…
