Starbridge Coyote
Starbridge Coyote was the third Starbridge created by mankind, after the first, Starbridge Earth, and it’s receiving test subject, built at the Kuiper Belt.
Initially christened Whittaker Station, after the physician Jonas Whittaker, whose research was responsible for its creation, it was renamed at his request to Starbridge Coyote.
It consisted of two independent parts, cannibalised from what used to be The EASS Columbus, the starship purposefully designed to be deconstructed and re-built as the Starbridge’s mainframe. The ship’s primary hull, Section B, was known as The Gatehouse, a command platform from where the Starbridge would be controlled. Section A was made up of what had once been the ship’s diametric drive, which now resembled a large ring, 130 feet in diameter.
In November, 2340, the first journey through Starbridge Coyote to Starbridge Earth, was taken by Coyote Federation President Carlos Montero, his wife Wendy Gunther, Chief Proctor Chris Levin, and their European Alliance sponsors, Anastasia Tereshkova and Gabriel Pachino.
