Coyote Rising Locations...

When The Western Hemisphere Union arrived in Coyote, their fleet of ships each brought an additional 1000 colonists.  The original Alabama settler’s had abandoned the founding town of Liberty, not wishing to be intimidated by the new government. 

The WHU moved into Liberty, but the town was only built to house 100 settlers.  With each new ship, the town’s limit was stretched further.  The result was the formation of rows and rows of slums, around the fields adjacent to the shuttle landing pads.  In the spirit of 'social collectivism', the political theory the WHU believed in, each settler was given a tent and a meal card.  But the tents were old and torn, and the meals were basic and minimal.

The town of Shuttlefield was a mess, rows and rows of shoddy tents and muddy pathways, litter everywhere.  It was unofficially run by a hierarchy of unions and guilds, who, in return for one third of your wages or meal ration, would leave you alone, and allow you to pitch your tent.  Shuttlefield was a testament to the fear that Robert Lee had, when the WHU arrived.  Coyote was not being shown the respect it deserved…
