Coyote Rising Locations...
Liberty
The town of Liberty was the first settlement founded on the world of Coyote, by the original colonists, who came aboard The URSS Alabama. They were able to farm and conserve enough food to get through their first winter, and eventually the colony was able to sustain the 100 citizens.
However, when The WHSS Glorious Destiny arrived in C.Y 03, the original colonists fled their new home, in order to avoid being overwhelmed by the 1000 plus new colonists, brought to Coyote by The Western Hemisphere Union. The Union had made it clear that they were here to stay, and made no attempt to hide the sheer number of colonists that were already on their way to Coyote. So when they arrived on Coyote, they found the town of Liberty deserted…
This arrogant stance was perhaps the reason Liberty suffered under The Union. Under the rule of Matriarch Luisa Hernandez, The Union were too obsessed with controlling Coyote, they failed to control their people. The standard of living was poor. Liberty was not large enough to accommodate the amount of new colonists arriving with each Union ship, and slums areas developed.
The Union’s unwillingness to respect Coyote, and the opportunity it gave man kind, led to a passionate uprising against them, by the original colonists, who had came to love the new world and saw it as their home… an uprising that would lead to war…
