Liberation Day
The day had finally come… the day when Captain Lee would lead a movement to take back their home from the oppression of the WHU. The Union had come to exploit and rule Coyote. To establish a colony over which it’s power over its people would remain strong, long after life on Earth had perished.
But they mistreated Coyote. They failed to understand its enchanting spirit, and violated the gift of freedom and tranquillity that Captain Lee had fallen in love with, as soon as they arrived on the new world.
The offensive was in motion. As Lee returned to the Alabama for the first time in almost 11 years, an ironic thought occurred to him, highlighting just how far they’d come.
When he arrived in Coyote’s orbit, the Alabama starship was his life. As Commanding Officer he knew the ship inside out, and he had optimised it’s facilities to the maximum when conspiring to steal her from the URA and it was his home for the next 200 years.
Back then; Coyote was an alien world to him. However after all those years, Lee had learned so much about his new home, and lighting fires and skinning creek rats felt natural to him. This time, as he sat at his control panel, Coyote was home, the Alabama felt like the alien…
But the Alabama colonists were not the only ones preparing to act… against the repression of the WHU, Coyote itself was also about to fight back…
